We, the creators

ALHAUS travelled to London this month as media partner of a We, the Creators panel event at WeWork Waterhouse Square, featuring experts from the world of art and design.

As a remote, virtual team ourselves, ALHAUS Magazine is very much tuned in to the incredible rise of the co-working trend. So it was with huge interest that we travelled to London this month as media partner of a We, the Creators panel event, run by international co-working start-up WeWork.

WeWork spaces are designed to foster a sense of community, encouraging members to meet new friends, find project collaborators and tap into inspiration on a daily basis. Clever environment design means light-filled space, cosy working nooks, and the chance to book conference rooms in beautiful heritage buildings are around the world.

The Creator Awards are part of WeWork's ambitious programme of networking events, and ALHAUS Magazine was proud to be named media partner of their Art & Design: When Standing Out Attracts the Crowd event at WeWork Waterhouse Square in East London.

A central part of ALHAUS’ mission is fostering ties with creative individuals, companies and start-ups around the world

In a world of buzzing media and constant overstimulation, it can be hard to catch your audience’s attention in the right way. Three industry experts from the world of art and design — Fair Director of Affordable Art Fair Lucinda Costello, Theatre and Puppet Designer Samuel Wyer and Ennismore Senior Design Manager Megan Gibbon — took the stage on the night to talk convention, converting innovation into a brand, and how to bring vision to the foreground in a climate crowded with visual stimulation.

There was great energy in the room, as questions flew back and forth and drinks were poured. We shared the latest issue of ALHAUS with a new audience, met with the fantastic WeWork team, and spoke with the generous members of the panel. Indeed, inspired by the great ideas aired that night, we've lined up some great interviews for the next issue of our magazine.

A central part of ALHAUS' mission is fostering ties with creative individuals, companies and start-ups around the world, so here's looking forward to the next WeWork Creators event — whether that's in Dublin, London, New York or beyond.

The Creator Awards are open to anyone who embodies the WeWork mantra "Create Your Life's Work". There's still time to apply and see your dream become a reality. Find out how to enter at the Creator Awards website
